Born: Budapest, 1971.
He graduated from Piarist Secondary School of Budapest in 1989,
and obtained his degree in conducting at Franz Liszt Academy of Music
as a student of Ervin Lukács in 1995.

CONDUCTOR

 

He has been an active participant of the music scene for 30 years, and has conducted 1770 concerts/performances. He has been conducting at the Hungarian State Opera for 26 years without interruption, with almost 700 performances of more than 100 productions to his credit.

 

  • Since 1993 conducted the leading Symphony Orchestras in Hungary: the National Philharmonic Orchestra, the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio and Television, the Matáv Symphony Orchestra and the MÁV Symphony Orchestra

COMPOSING

Of my primary commitment I have always considered the conducting, but since I have turned sixteen, occasionally, when I feel I have message for someone, I use the leverage of composing to express my thoughts.

JUDGING

 

He has been a jury member of numerous conducting, composing, vocal and piano competitions in Hungary and it Italy, including television programs, such as the "International Conductors Competition Sir Georg Solti". In 2013 he founded the "Key to the Future - Opera Composing Competition", which took place in 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2018. Since its foundation in 2014, he has been a jury member of the Virtuosos Classical Music Talent Show.
